27th Georgia Regiment
We'd like to welcome you to our site. We are the 27th Georgia Infantry Regiment,
Co. D, Camp 1404, Gainesville, Georgia. We meet the second Thursday of every month at 7:00 p.m. at the Piedmont Hotel in downtown
Gainesville. If you're a descendant of a Confederate soldier we'd like for you to join the SCV and help us celebrate
and preserve our Southern heritage.
Meetings
On the 2nd Thursday of each month we meet at Longstreet's
Piedmont Hotel at 7:00 pm.
To get to the Piedmont: Come into Gainesville
on Browns Bridge Rd./Jesse Jewel Parkway to the Georgia Mountain Center. Turn East (away from
dowtown) onto Main St. Go about four blocks and turn right on High St. Go one block and turn left on Maple St. Go one block
and Piedmont is on your left. There is off street parking. The address is 827 Maple St.
Come on out and preserve your heritage!

Our camp hosted the 2006 Georgia Division Reunion with the help of many other area camps.
